On July 27, 2022, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse briefly explained how to give Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology sufficient funding to support and encourage development of a bipartisan market-based revenue system. The goal: to create a DAC industry nationwide.

The Senator's remarks were made at a Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Hearing entitled: "Examining the Development of Projects and Implementation of Policies that Support Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Technologies."

The video lasts 4:59.
